These moxa sticks are designed for use with a suitable Lion Warmer that accepts sticks with a diameter of 5 mm. Their slim shape allows heat to be applied precisely during a moxibustion treatment.

Each moxa stick measures 12 cm in length and 5 mm in diameter. One pack contains 30 moxa sticks.

Directions for use

1. Check that the moxa stick fits securely inside the Lion Warmer.
2. Insert the stick according to the instructions supplied with the Lion Warmer.
3. Light the end of the moxa stick.
4. Always check the heat level before beginning the treatment.
5. Keep the warmer moving and prevent hot components from touching the skin.
6. After use, extinguish the stick completely in a suitable fire-resistant moxa extinguisher.

Important safety information

Burning moxa becomes hot and may cause burns or create a fire hazard. Use only in a well-ventilated area and never leave burning moxa unattended. Maintain a safe distance from the skin and continuously monitor the temperature and the user’s heat sensation during treatment. Keep away from flammable materials and out of reach of children. Use only by, or under the supervision of, a person with sufficient knowledge of moxibustion.
